CALA HOMES PRESS RELEASE

CALA HOMES PROJECT MANAGERS WIN NATIONAL AWARDS

July 4 2008

Two CALA Homes project managers have scooped prestigious national house-building awards for developments in Edinburgh.

Ken Haston, project manager at CALA's Grovewood Hill, and Mark Foley, project manager at East Fettes, have received National Housebuilding Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job awards.

In the past five years, Ken has won the award four times while Mark has received the distinguished accolade on three occasions.

Ken, who has almost 50 years experience in the building trade including more than 20 years with CALA, said:

"By working closely together, we can really deliver the best results for any development and this award is a real testament to the team at Grovewood Hill. It is particularly exciting to be involved in a development which is so innovative and contemporary and follows on from my recent experience at Greenbank Village, Edinburgh."

Mark said: "This award is a tribute to the quality and skills delivered by everyone at the CALA Homes development at East Fettes."

Gerry More, chairman of CALA Homes, said: "This award reflects the hard work both Ken and Mark have put into helping establish Grovewood Hill and East Fettes as two of Edinburgh's leading contemporary developments."
