![]() A new home at CALA Homes' Allanbank Gardens development in Lauder is to be transformed into a temporary gallery space for leading artists from the Lothians & Borders. Plot 19 Gallery will play host to the Summer Exhibition which will showcase works from Nigel Bridges, Mooie Scott, Alan Richmond, Catherine Rayner and Philip Braham. The exhibition, which will run from 10th-31st August, is curated by Annette Knight and Jacquie Lowden of the Flat Cat Gallery, Lauder. Among the award-winning artists will be Edinburgh-based award-winning illustrator and author Catherine Rayner, who won the Best New Illustrator Award at the Book Trust Early Years Awards and was short listed for the V&A Illustration Award 2006. Also on show will be a selection of works from Edinburgh artist Philip Braham, who was awarded a Friends of the Royal Scottish Academy Research Bursary in 2003.
