INTERESTING INCENTIVE BROUGHT TO THE TABLE BY MERCHANT HOMES

As Merchant Homes prepares to open its doors on a new show apartment at its Park Court development on Saturday 18th October, the innovative housebuilder has come up with an interesting new incentive.

 

The company is preparing to offer househunters interest free loans on selected plots equating to 15% of the full purchase price. The incentive is designed to appeal to potential buyers who find it difficult to raise the initial deposit required by many of the leading mortgage lenders. This would leave the homebuyer having to secure a reduced borrowing of 85% to complete the sale of the property.

 

The development of two and three bedroom apartments on Carmyle Avenue is ideally situated just 10 minutes drive from Glasgow city centre and one stop on the train from Carmyle station. With three different styles of apartment and impressively spacious layouts, these homes are perfect for those looking to stay close to the city while having some room to breathe.

 

Merchant Homes has also struck a deal with Halifax  that will see the housebuilder pay 5% deposit with a 95% tracker mortgage at 7.29%. This is available on all completions in November and must  be arranged through the appointed broker, New Homes Mortgages.

“With our first show apartment opening at the development on 18th October, we wanted to give potential buyers a selection of real benefits that would assist them in their move to finding a new home.”

 

Each apartment will come complete with a host of additional ‘little extras’ as standard – including SMEG kitchen appliances, Porcelenosa tiling, double showers and Sky+.

Prices start from £142,000 and move in dates are scheduled for Autumn 2008.
