MANORLANE MOVES INTO SECOND PHASE AT THE HAMPTONS

19 October 2007

Buyers have a fresh opportunity to secure a home at The Hamptons, following the release of the second phase of properties at the development set in the South Lanarkshire village of Netherburn.

As the Hamptons offers a relaxing countryside setting with an easy commute to the city, the location is proving particularly attractive for young couples and families relocating from the centre of Glasgow. Nestled in the beautiful Clyde Valley and surrounded by fields and woodland, The Hamptons is only around five miles from the town of Hamilton and 20 miles from Glasgow.

In order to complement the village setting, the exclusive development comprises just 52 homes, all detached and ranging from three to six bedrooms in size.

Current availability ranges from the five-bedroom Kingly (£287,995) to the three-bedroom Brooke (£189,995). A selection of six styles of four-bedroom homes is on offer providing buyers with a wide choice of styles and layouts, from the Brompton (£236,995) to the Sloane (£199,995). A range of Autumn incentives are available on selected plots.

The latest release includes the impressive six-bedroom, three-storey Broadstone (£249,995). Ideal for families or those simply looking for space to entertain and accommodate guests, the substantial property includes not only a drawing room and dining room, but also a large and sociable open-plan kitchen and family room with adjoining garden room. Moving upstairs, the property features a master bedroom with en-suite, while the two bright bedrooms (one of which may serve as a home office) located on the second floor benefit from the dormer windows set into the roof which are such a distinctive feature of Manorlane’s homes.

Buyers looking for a three-bedroom home will be impressed by the spacious Brooke (£189,995) in which the open-plan ground floor comprises the drawing room, family room, kitchen and garden room, while the property’s three-bedrooms are served by a master bedroom en-suite and family bathroom.

Externally, each Manorlane home is of a traditional, Georgian style in red brick and white render, creating an appealing and timeless street scene.

The first homes are scheduled for completion at The Hamptons in February 2008.

The former mining village of Netherburn is well served by nearby Larkhall, Hamilton and Lanark, and only minutes from the M74 and A71. Nearby train stations are located at Carluke, Wishaw and Shieldmuir.

Local amenities include a multiplex cinema, sports complex, bowling green, golf course and water park, not to mention Hamilton Park Race Course, retail parks, Strathclyde and Chatelherault country parks and Wishaw General Hospital.

Manorlane’s four-bedroom Wellbeck showhome at The Dukes, in Carfin, North Lanarkshire, provides the opportunity to view the blend of period architecture and contemporary design, including large astragal windows and Georgian feature columns, as well as generous sized rooms, open-plan living and high specification finishes. Alternatively, interested buyers can view before they visit with virtual tours of selected property styles available on the Manorlane website at www.manorlane.co.uk.
