Mactaggart & Mickel Timber Systems hosted a live timber system installation demonstration recently - showing builders and developers from across Scotland how they make homes wind and watertight in just one day.

The open day took place at Mactaggart & Mickel's Marr Meadows development in Barassie, Troon, and provided visitors with the opportunity to see the Mactaggart & Mickel Timber Systems team installing a closed-panel system in a matter of hours, and included a sneak preview of the company’s new cutting-edge bathroom pod.

The inaugural event was attended by housing associations, registered social landlords, architects, building contractors, self-builders and developers of all sizes.

Mactaggart & Mickel’s team answered questions and offered professional and bespoke advice and assistance throughout the day.

Mactaggart & Mickel commercial manager, Ross Mickel, said: “We are delighted with the success of the event and with the wonderful turnout on the day.
