CALA Gears up to the Challenge

As part of its recently announced restructure, CALA Homes has made a number of key appointments to enable it to achieve its 5-year plan to become the premium quality medium-sized housebuilding company in the UK.

CALA Homes (East) Ltd has appointed Sarah Stanger to the position of Sales and Marketing Director. She joins CALA from Cruden Homes where she was Managing Director (Sales and Marketing).

“I am delighted to join CALA, a company whose name is synonymous with quality and I look forward to helping build the brand yet further during what is an exciting period of growth for the company”, she commented.

Sarah is joined by Sales Manager Sue Jackson. Originally trained as a nurse, Sue has 15 years working in property.  Her initial experience was gained in Yorkshire, before she moved back to Scotland five years ago to work for Rettie and Co.  She then worked in Edinburgh as a Sales Manager, where she specialised in urban regeneration.

She says of her appointment, “I have always been impressed by CALA’s homes and their commitment to customer service and quality. I am looking forward to the opportunities that working for CALA brings and to developing the sales team.”

Gavin Pope has been promoted to Land Manager at CALA East.

At CALA Homes (West) Ltd, Mike Tomlinson has recently joined as Land Manager. After working in Chesire for four years, he has returned to Scotland where he previously worked for another developer. He brings to CALA a depth of experience in land acquisition.

“This is a great opportunity to work with a prestigious company and I am looking forward to becoming an integral part of the land team and making a positive contribution to the company in the acquisition of land.”
