New homes on sale in Burntisland

February 05, 2008
Homebuilder George Wimpey has announced that the first homes in the second phase of the Inches development in Burntisland have gone on sale.

A total of 96 properties are available at the site across a range of designs, including three and four-bedroom detached homes and four-bedroom townhouses.

Karen Armstrong, sales and managing director at the firm, comments: "The Inches enjoys a great location overlooking the Inch islands in the Firth of Forth and our homes are designed with today's modern family in mind."

Prices currently start at £187,500 for a four-bedroom detached property.

Burntisland is linked to all the major towns on the east coast of Scotland by the local train station and the nearby M90 motorway makes Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline and Edinburgh easily commutable destinations.

Elsewhere in the central Scotland region, homebuilder Applecross recently announced the launch of its 77-property Eskbridge development, which is located nine miles south of Edinburgh.
