"Perfect views" at Tullibody development

Being able to enjoy the beauty of nature from her dining room is just one of the reasons why one George Wimpey sales executive is singing the praises of her home in Ochil View.

Janet Smith snapped up a three-bedroom semi-detached home in the George Wimpey development in Tullibody last year after she was "bowled over" by what it offered.

Not only does her dining room and back garden offer her the opportunity to enjoy the "stunning views" of the Ochil Hills, but Ms Smith also appreciated an "amazing sense of welcome and community" in the development.

"There's nothing better than seeing the changing seasons unfold over that panoramic scene," she said, but adding that there are other benefits to buying in the Ochil View development as well.

The homeowner said there are a number of benefits associated with buying a new-build property and that a key consideration for her was the fact the she was buying at a fixed price.

"With no 'offers-over' I knew exactly what I could afford and how much my house would cost me," Ms Smith said.

She was also offered various options in order to personalise her property, using the "blank canvas" to put her own stamp on the house.

Elsewhere in the region, homebuilder Redrow is promoting a range of two-bedroom apartments at the Lockkeeper's Wynd development in Falkirk.

Sales director Diana Newton said the development overlooking the Clyde and Forth Canal is set to appeal particularly to young professionals, downsizers and couples starting out.
