Properties available in Blackridge

February 19, 2008
A range of new homes in the town of Blackridge may be ideal for those looking to buy in the area following an announcement from George Wimpey today.

The housebuilder said it has recently seen interest from local families who want to experience the modern and contemporary style of the properties while enjoying the many delights Blackridge has to offer.

George Wimpey also noted the ongoing development of the Bathgate-Airdrie railway line, on which Blackridge will be a commuter village.

Mary Cooney, a sales executive at the company's Ailsa Gardens location, said the "short" drive to the M8 motorway made the site suitable for many looking to set up home.

"Plus the views that many of our homes will have at this development are stunning … lots of beautiful open countryside," she added.

In related news, George Wimpey recently announced a new range of three, four and five bedroom homes at a development in Eskbank, named St David's Gardens.
