A variety of newly-built apartments in Dumfermline have been made available by the construction group George Wimpey, it has been announced.

The flats within the Pilmuir Place have gone on sale at prices starting from just under £150,000 and it anticipated that first-time buyers and young professionals will be among those interested in moving into the "contemporary" apartments.

George Wimpey has suggested that each two or three-bedroom apartment offers "well-proportioned" bathrooms and kitchens and that the development is located only a short distance from the centre of Dumfermline.

In fact, the construction firm has maintained that the Scottish town offers local residents a range of high-quality night spots, cinemas and restaurants, as well as a tranquil public park.

"The apartments available at this development boast spacious floor-layouts that offer generous living space to call your own," said Karen Armstrong, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey East Scotland.

Meanwhile, the construction company recently announced the availability of a number of family homes overlooking the River Forth and its well-known bridges.
