Dunfermline to see new £27m housing project

March 25, 2008
Househunters considering moving to central Scotland may be interested in a new development in Dunfermline.

In a project costing £27 million, 154 new homes are to be built at Masterton Grange in a joint venture between Scottish housebuilders.

Gladedale and Strathclyde Homes are combining to create a solution to Dunfermline's housing needs, with a particular emphasis on catering for first-time buyers.

Peter Brogan, managing director for Strathclyde Homes, commented: "We believed that the combined expertise of Strathclyde and Gladedale would enable us to deliver homes designed specifically to meet needs in Dunfermline.

"There is a shortage of homes aimed at first-time buyers and we have a selection of properties that are ideal for those looking to take their first step on the property ladder."

Redrow put the fun back into househunting in Dunfermline over the weekend by offering an event that allowed parents and children alike enjoy the Middlebank Rise development through a series of games, barbeques and even a hot air balloon ride.
