People looking to buy a house in central Scotland may be interested to know that Raploch is set to embark on a new regeneration project.
The Raploch Urban Regeneration Company (URC) is looking to recruit a board of directors to oversee the future of the project, according to onrec.com.
Already, the scheme has seen some 900 new homes built through collaboration between George Wimpey, Cruden Homes and Forth Housing Association.
Furthermore, local people are guaranteed a ten per cent stake in the job opportunities available through the regeneration process.
Councillor John Hendry, chair of the URC, said: "This is a tremendous opportunity for individuals to become involved in a project which has already made a real difference to the lives of many local people and will lay the foundations from which future generations will prosper."
Also in the "vibrant" Raploch area, new properties have recently been made available in Stirling Bridge from housebuilder George Wimpey, including apartments, semi-detached houses and townhouses.
