Scottish first-time buyers looking to buy a house in central Scotland may be interested in a new Barratt Homes development.
Luxury apartments at The Laurels, a Barratt development in the making in Rutherglen near Glasgow, are available with the added incentive of a Head Start package from the company.
The package, designed especially for first-time buyers, would see the firm pay the deposit on the property and the buyer pay 85 per cent. They would pay no interest on the 15 per cent for up to ten years, the firm claims.
Both two and three-bedroom apartments are available and the location is around ten minutes away from Glasgow by rail and is close to all the local Rutherglen amenities, meaning that this may be a good opportunity for people hoping to buy a house in central Scotland.
Stuart MacColl, Barratt sales director, said: "For a limited period, first-time buyers take advantage of our Head Start package. We will even pay your legal fees and survey fees up to £750."
In addition, Mr MacColl recently explained that Barratt West Scotland's panel of mortgage brokers and financial advisors had a 93 per cent success rate in finding mortgages on its behalf for Barratt new home buyers.
