New homes go on sale in West Lothian

June 15, 2007
The first homes on a George Wimpey development in Blackburn, West Lothian have gone on sale, it has been announced.

The new home builder has entered the Ailsa Gardens houses onto the market, with 29 homes in a variety of styles available.

Prices start at £130,000 for three-bedroomed semi-detached properties, easier.com reports.

Michelle Logie, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey, remarks: "With affordable prices and an excellent location, we're expecting Ailsa Gardens in Blackridge to be popular with people working in towns throughout West Lothian."

She added that commuters working in Glasgow and Edinburgh may well be interested in the property, as the site sits right in the middle of the central belt.

It therefore offers both the best of village life and easy access to Scotland's large conurbations, George Wimpey explains.

Blackridge is situated midway between Bathgate and Airdrie on the A89.
