Homebuilder Dickie Homes has stated that trust plays a major part in purchasing a new house in central Scotland and is a factor that is often overlooked.
The firm states that it is vitally important for buyers to trust builders and do not purchase homes too quickly out of fear of losing out to another consumer.
Quoting figures from savings bank ING Direct, the firm states that UK house buyers spend an average of only 17 minutes looking at a new home and 49 per cent purchased speedily through fear that another consumer would buy the property first.
Sales and marketing manager for Dickie Homes John Kerr commented: "Nothing sells a home more than location, but personal recommendation and trust run it a very close second."
Mr Kerr added that Dickie Homes is a trustworthy company that will provide a full move-in experience and after-sales support that will allow consumers to enjoy their home "to the full".
Dickie Homes, which has a history of over 300 years, has current developments in Eldersie and Carmunnock near Glasgow, with plans for a further site in Shawlands.
