Early Christmas presents near Penicuik

October 23, 2007
Construction firm Applecross is offering a number of 'gifts' on properties at a development near Penicuik, consumers considering buying a new home in Scotland may be interested to learn.

The company's Eskbridge development will see a number of homes become ready for occupation between now and mid-December and the homebuilder is offering three gifts as the run-up the Christmas approaches.

Applecross asserts that - on properties where legal settlement will be completed by the end of the year - it will pay stamp duty on the owners' behalf, along with legal fees up to a value of £1,000 and a curtain package up the £2,500.

Lianne Bootland, head of sales at the firm, comments: "We know that buying and moving house is a very stressful time and the associated costs do add up.

"Our Christmas package at Eskbridge is designed to make the house moving process easier on the pocket for homebuyers."

Earlier this year, Applecross announced the launch of a range of terraced properties on the Eskbridge development.
