Housebuilder Barratt has recently announced the launch of a new development in Edinburgh.

Called Q, the site is located at Western Harbour and comprises a range of two, three and four-bedroom properties with prices beginning at £170,495.

Sales director with Barratt Angela McKimmie commented: "Helping the first-time buyer is clearly one of our main aims and this is reflected in the range of great properties, attractive locations and keen prices available from Barratt East Scotland."

Elsewhere in the city, a variety of two-bedroom houses have been made available by the homebuilder at the Broughton Court development on Broughton Road, with prices on the properties starting at £180,995.

Finally, the firm's Fusion development includes a number of extras, such as a concierge service and a fitness suite.

In recent months, Barratt has also made available a range of homes in the Glasgow area, including Western Gate in Knightswood, near the city's West End.
