Two three-bedroom detached homes are to be created in Edinburgh, it has been announced.
Homebuilder Alliance Developments has stated that the properties will be created in Kirkliston, near South Queensferry.
Two stone cottages in the area will be turned into brand new homes, to be called Smiddy and Anvil Cottages.
Each property will include a combination of hardwood floors, carpets and ceramic floor tiling as well as integrated appliances in the kitchens and the master bedroom in both houses will feature en suite facilities.
Both properties have retained existing features such as stone exteriors and have been re-roofed with traditional slate.
Alliance Developments states: "Each property mixes traditional with contemporary design; luxury with practicality where the interiors will create attractive modern homes with a high-quality finish."
