Homebuyers may need to get their skates on if they are interested in purchasing a property on a site in Edinburgh.

Cruden Homes' Genesis development, located in the Forthquarter area of Granton, currently comprises 118 new homes, but plans are in place to expand it to include 250.

Almost 90 per cent of the apartments have been snapped up, but a range of two and three-bedroom homes are still available.

Prices on the remaining properties, many of which have views of the Firth of Forth, begin at £151,500.

In recent weeks, homebuilder Barratt announced the launch of a development comprising two, three and four-bedroom properties at the city's Western Harbour called Q.
