November 19, 2007
Plans for a residential development in Edinburgh have been announced by homebuilders Applecross and Premier Property Group (PPG).

Construction has begun on the 23,035 sq ft site at Craighall Gardens in the Trinity area of the city, which upon completion will comprise 17 luxury properties.

The apartments will be released for sale in February 2008.

Managing director of Applecross Colin Cumberland commented: "Applecross and PPG have been working in similar areas for a while and we embarked on some exploratory discussions late last year.

"We're now in a position to be working more closely with them on a number of developments and this one I hope will be the first of many."

Director of PPG Jestyn Davies added that the firm looks forward to working with Applecross and exploring further ventures with them.

Homebuilder Charles Church recently announced the launch of a new development in Dalkeith, six miles from Edinburgh.
