Housebuilder Redrow reports swift success at a development in Falkirk as over half of the properties on the site have been sold in a few weeks.
Of the 47 homes on the Lockkeepers Wynd site, 26 have already been snapped up by homebuyers.
All of the two, three and four-bedroom houses have gone, leaving behind 21 apartments.
Features of the properties include spacious living areas with bay windows and sliding doors leading to the kitchen.
Sales director for Redrow Homes Scotland Diana Newton comments: "There was a lot of pent-up demand for these homes, fuelled in part by the fact that we had previously developed the site next door, Abbots Wynd."
Ms Newton adds that some of the remaining two-bedroom apartments offer views of the Forth and Clyde Canal.
Elsewhere in the region, homebuilders Applecross and Premier Property Group recently announced plans for a joint residential development at Craighall Gardens in Edinburgh.
